In the case of mother-daughter dental team Wanda Kauffman and Michelle Sandler, the family that works together stays together.
They left a successful, 16-year-old practice in Boston and packed up their families to move to San Diego earlier this year. They opened Solana Family Dental in November, in the Marshall’s shopping center off Lomas Santa Fe Drive.
Kauffman has a physician brother who lives here, and she would visit at least once a year. This got mother and daughter talking about a move to bring the family together two years ago.
“In coming here and doing research, we were impressed by the medical attention given here, by the quality and friendliness and the attention you get,” Sandler said.
